JUNIOR HIGH PROGRAMS

Crestwood Junior High offers Academic Alternative and Gifted & Talented programming. 

We have core programming that develops interdisciplinary connections through inquiry and project-based instruction designed to enhance and broaden curricular outcomes.

We offer French as a Second Language for all students in junior high. Students have a choice of Band, Art or Outdoor Education for their option course.

Each year there are three seperate weeks of complementary courses, where students take a course of their choosing. Past options have included Cooking, Film Studies, Math and Science at West Edmonton Mall, Coding, Skiing and many more.

 

ACADEMIC ALTERNATIVE PROGRAM (GR 7-9) 2025/2026

The Academic Alternative Program is for junior high students who meet entrance criteria prior to entering the program in Grade 7. 

Academic Alternative applications for Grade 7 will be available Friday, January 10, 2025 and are due Friday, January 31, 2025.
