Lunch & Nutrition
We urge parents to have their children go home or to a caregiver outside of school for lunch as the break from the school enhances attention and energy for afternoon classes.
For those families that cannot make alternative arrangements, Crestwood provides space and supervision on a regular basis and for drop-in need. For safety reasons, we ask that all students using this service fill in and return a Lunch Program Contract, which outlines specific fees and program expectations.
Lunch fees cover only the cost of supervision and equipment or materials necessary to operate this service. This program operates on a break-even basis, so if costs go up, it may be necessary to raise fees accordingly.
We strongly encourage parents to consider the allergies students may have and help us make Crestwood a nut free environment.
All students have 20 minutes to eat lunch and 20 minutes to enjoy time outside.
We are a closed campus for elementary students.
We are an open campus for junior high, meaning students are able to leave the school grounds during lunch. Students will need to be responsible to return on time for class.
